Wowza! If I thought LAST week was a doozy - this week topped the cake!
I felt a little like Wonder Woman at times and at others like an old lady chicken with her head cut off! Does that even make sense? Well, it did in my head! LOL
I am exhausted, I am drained, yet, I feel more fulfilled than I have in a very long time!
I just wanted to stop by and say hello and see how everyone else is doing?!
How was your week? Seriously. Stop and think about how your week was right now.
What was the #1 thing that happened that made you smile?
For me? It was knowing that I helped put a smile on the faces of many who were hurting. It was knowing that an extra encouraging word, an extra hug, an extra smile is all it takes to uplift someone else and makes their world just a little brighter.
What was the #1 thing that saddened your heart and/or made you cry?
Realizing that there are so many around me that are hurting physically, emotionally, spiritually and I can't always fix it with the things I just listed above. I will never give up trying, but man, some weeks just suck when it comes to watching this world and what it is turning into. Have we seriously learned nothing from the past? Still, I refuse to give up hope.
Favorite thing you read or watched on tv?
Mine was a simple, romantic gum commercial from several years ago. Cheesy, I know. But what can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. It brought tears to my eyes and reminded me how much I love my husband who would do this very thing for me to show me he loves me, even after 21 years together.
I'll share it here. It's worth a watch!
What single thing did you do to your heart happy?
Or did you get swallowed up into the giant pit of life's messy nothingness and wish you'd have done better?
If you did - guess what? That's okay too! Take a moment to reflect on that which you wish you WOULD have done instead of what actually happened.
For me, I didn't take the time to focus on what made my heart happy, but rather to set my focus on serving others this week. And that was more than okay!
So, yes - I am exhausted. I am drained. Yet, I am incredibly thankful for the position I was in this week to seek to help, to seek to serve, and it was what my heart needed to thrive and discover my purpose again.
What is your heart's purpose? What can you do to seek it out in the coming week?
We have a long weekend ahead of us, so we will spend our time editing Have Fate Will Travel, writing the blurb for Have Fate Will Travel, and hopefully creating a trailer to boot!
We are going to spend this time reflecting, recharging, and setting new goals to make this week count! Will you join us?
As this week comes to a close and we settle into weekend mode, take a moment to uplift your current mindset. Pivot the negativity into a more positive outlook. And set a new goal to make this next week count like no other!
And always... always... Be the change you wish to see in the world!
I hope you have an awesome long weekend! Talk to you soon! See ya on the flip side!
